Kristi billman
Kristi Billman is a dedicated art educator with over a decade of experience, currently inspiring students at Glenbard North High School in Carol Stream, IL. Graduating with an undergraduate degree in art education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009, she has since become renowned for her expertise in photography, digital art, and graphic design. Prior to teaching at Glenbard North, she taught at West Aurora High School, where she made significant contribution to the visual art department, which led to their recognition as the Best School Art Program in the state by the Illinois Art Education Association in 2017. Her dedication to her students' success is evident in her ongoing pursuit of a master's degree in Teaching and Learning, with a focus on ESL, reflecting her passion for serving her community. Billman's commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom as she has served as an adjudication host for the Scholastic Awards' grades 9-11 photography category in the Suburban Chicago region for over five years. Beyond teaching, she is also a skilled professional portrait photographer, specializing in infants and newborns.
