MARY LEE MOORE
ABOUT THIS YEAR'S PHOTO JUDGE

Mary Lee Moore is a Photographer, Artist,Teacher and Avid Traveler.  Her passion for photography started in a small makeshift darkroom in the basement of her Central Illinois high school.  Twenty-six years ago, wanting to share her love for Photography with high schoolers, Mary Lee moved to Chicago to teach Darkroom Photography in a Chicago Suburb. She has ventured to 17 countries creating photographs highlighting the unique cultures, architecture and spirituality of the various regions.  Using traditional and alternative photographic techniques she produces ethereal images of the many international sites she has visited and shares these explorations and artworks with her students. Mary Lee has exhibited in numerous galleries in the United States as well as Internationally.
